The MacDill Officers’ Spouses’ Club announces 2017-18 College Scholarships for High School Seniors and Military Spouses

The MOSC Scholarship Program recognizes outstanding military dependents in the MacDill Community by offering merit-based scholarships for graduating High School Seniors and Military Spouses.  Graduating High School Senior dependents and Military Spouses of all ranks of active duty, retired or deceased members of any branch of the US Armed Services are encouraged to apply.

Scholarships are merit-based and are evaluated on a combination of academics, essay, volunteerism and leadership.

  • Applications for 2018 must be postmarked by February 15, 2018.  Applications will not be considered if all required elements are not postmarked by that date.
  • You must be a resident of Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, or Polk counties.

  • If you are a military spouse, you can re-apply if you have not previously won.

  • You can apply if you attend a private, public or homeschool.

  • If you receive any type of full scholarship from another funding source, you will no longer be eligible for our scholarship.

During the 2016 - 2017 fiscal year, the MacDill OSC awarded five scholarships: four $1,000 scholarships, and one $500 scholarships (totaling $4,500). The 2016-2017 scholarship recipients are attending Florida State University, University of Florida, University of South Florida, Texas A&M,  and University of Arizona.
